Alex Haynes
was born in Kansas City, Missouri on December 18th. She was born to an
1/2 African-American, 1/2 Caucasian father (think Barack Obama) from
Cedar Rapids, Iowa and a full blood Thai mother who was born in
Bangkok, Thailand who moved to the United States when she turned 18.
Alex
is the 3rd child out of 4, and is the only female. She has two older
brothers: Javier and Jesus, and a younger brother, Timothy.
At age 16, Alex decided she wanted a career in Culinary Arts and wanted
to become a chef. After graduating from high school from Hickman Mills
in Kansas City, she decided to go join the Hospitality/Culinary Program
at Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, Kansas. There,
she studied cooking fundamentals, profitable menu planning, accounting,
and management. In May 2007, she received an Associate of Applied
Science degree in Food and Beverage Management, and in May 2009 she
received an additional degree in Hotel & Lodging Management. In
addition to having two degrees, she's also BarCode Certified, ServSafe
Certified, CPR Certified, and speaks conversational Spanish.
After supervising the food and beverage departments at places and
events like:The Big 12 tournament, Arrowhead Stadium, the Sheraton
Hotel, Sprint Center Entertainment Venue; and meeting celebrities like
the Harlem Globetrotters, Rihanna, Michael Buble, J. Holliday,
Ginuwine, and countless KC Chiefs players, Alex departed at the
Sheraton Hotel due to lack of business in Jan 2009.
After
many months of trying to find herself, Alex decided to pursue something
totally different and did her first lingerie shoot in August 2009.
Since then, Alex has been doing countless photoshoots and her
uniqueness when it comes to personality and race has been recognized
from numerous photographers in the Midwest.
When not modeling or traveling, Alex likes to: go to the movies, go
miniature golfing, cooking, shopping, wine tasting, dining-out, go to
the arcade (Fast & Furious is a favorite!), listen to old school
music like the Gap Band (personal favorite), go to comedy shows, and
listen to live music. Her friends describe her as: talkative, having a
sense of humor (love to make people laugh), generous, and having a big
heart.
